24.09 09:30 Opening keynote: The boring stack wins — a million requests per second from one binary · Amara Okafor
The story of CMSnap-LITE: a whole multi-site CMS in one static binary. 1,042,959 cached requests per second on 16 server cores with the request log on — arguably the fastest CMS measured in public, and every number reproduces with one script.

24.09 11:00 SQLite in production: one file, no ops — and 255,000 pages a second · Priya Nair
Every site gets its own SQLite database. Cache off, a read and a render per request: 255,000 req/s across a hundred sites. Writes scale with databases: ~200,000 committed inserts per second into one, 495,000 across a hundred — isolation turned into write parallelism.

24.09 13:30 Rust for web people, gently: 175 microseconds under a million-request load · Tomas Weber
What a CMS engine gains from Rust: no GC pauses, lock-free hot paths, atomic counters instead of SQL in the request path — a 175 µs median while serving a million requests per second.

24.09 15:00 Static binaries: deploy by scp — a CMS that installs as one file · Lena Fischer
No runtime, no database server, no proxy: one binary, one systemd unit. HTTPS is built in with automatic Lets Encrypt; an update is replacing a single file.
Main hall
24.09 16:30 Lightning talks: 10,000 websites on one machine · Anyone with 5 minutes
The density story: 10,000 full sites — each with its own database, admin and keys — for 5% of throughput and ~8 MB of RAM apiece. Compute lands at cents per site per month.
